Have something you wanna say? Got a question? Want to do a guest freestyle? Want to collaborate on a freestyle? Want to just say hello? Hit me up by email!

This is a grid straight out of a cubist painting or a modern art museum, thanks to its unusual block arrangement. The look vaguely reminds me of the Pompidou, which is my favorite thing that I visited when we went to Paris in 2016 (I almost said “last year”…). Perhaps the inclusion of 14-Across as the seed entry is appropriate (trust me, I’m not giving anything away here) for the grid… I think you’ll see what I’m talking about here.

Thanks as always to the test solvers for their input.

As always, share this link! Pass it around! New puzzle on Tuesday!

  1. I only just discovered your site and having solved (more or less) six of these so far, I feel comfortable saying these are the most consistently difficult straight crosswords I have found on the web (and I do most of the independent puzzles listed on the left there).

I don’t think I ever DNF’d an Agard or a Pasco, but I have three so far here. OK, I’ve definitely DNF’d a BEQ now and again.
