Unusual, I know, but this one I created specifically to be an eye-popping grid. There’ll be a few more soon like that too… I wanted to try something different. It makes for a grid that’s pretty sectioned-off, but I think the visual effect is pretty cool, if I say so myself. I was happy to find two pairs of a 15 and a 14 each in my ever-growing seed list that stack well, and it went from there.

  1. Classic Croce. Tough but fair with a smattering of Latin, literary stuff and terms you won’t find in your father’s crosswords.
