I think the texting generation has been slowly transforming us into androids. I wanted to reply to a text from my wife with “I am… love you too!”, but I didn’t want to take out my phone, so I did it on my smartwatch via voice. I tend not to speak naturally when I’m giving voice commands to the smartwatch. To send that text via voice, I spoke into my watch “I am ellipsis love you too exclamation mark” in a robotic monotone. I sounded completely ridiculous.
