Two in a row under 70 entries! What has gotten into me?! Obviously, this one was made for the grid art. I don’t usually make grids like these because the flow isn’t optimal if you get stuck, but I gotta mix it up now and again. I could have easily made it 70 or 72, but I don’t like to go with 40 or more blocks. That’s when it really starts to get clunky to me, so I try not to cross that threshold.

Thanks so much to all who’ve left a tip! It’s much appreciated, believe me.

Thanks as always to the test solvers for their input.

As always, share this link! Pass it around! New puzzle on Tuesday!

  1. PDF worked (twice, Tuesday and Wednesday) here.

Wow, another five star puzzle! Loved 35 and 52A and read an entire article about 52D. The long downs were all solidly in the language and finishing each one brought a smile. My house has five 37D’s and I never knew what they were called.

Thanks for another real satisfying solve.

    1. 52D are amazingly intelligent creatures, and not just in that way. If you haven’t already, you should read about how they learn traffic patterns at intersections to get cars to crack nuts for them…

  2. Yikes! The PDF link has gone missing. Thanks for all your wonderful challenging puzzles! My two adult kids and I now set aside Zoom time on the weekend to solve them. It takes all three of us!!!
